They are both on the aircraft steps looking at the camera, CSC at the top, bending forward, and WSC a few steps below her. CSC is wearing a matching tweed dress and coat with a large draping collar, with white beads, gloves and a dark close hat, and holding a newspaper in one hand, while WSC is in a dark overcoat with a spotted bow tie and light homburg hat, holding a cane.
